Pastel Exhibition at the Scarbrough Building in Austin

The Austin Pastel Society has a miniature pastel exhibition at the Scarbrough Building in Austin from June 21 through July 19. Pieces had to be 8"x 10" or smaller. These are my two pieces that will be on display there. The building really is wonderful - art deco style.
I walked around the small exhibition area, there are a lot of beautiful pastels by some very talented artists. If you are in the area you should stop in. You might find something you just have to take home with you.
BTW - Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there - enjoy your day! I'm on my way to my folk's house now to celebrate Father's Day with my dad and the rest of the family.

Daniel 9:3
So I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes.

Congratulations...wishing you sales and many commissions. I hope to have the opportunity to see your pastels in person someday. The teapot and flag has always been a favorite of mine.

Wish I could come and see your work in person, congratulations on your two pieces. Love the reflective quality in the sugar bowl, so well done.

Hi Carolina! Thanks so much - I did find out that Red, White & Silver received a runner up ribbon. Cool!

Hi Marsha - thank you! Wouldn't it be great to get together to visit and see each others art? Maybe one of these days. . .

Thanks Holly - the reflections were really fun to work on in Red, White & Silver. I would love to see your art in person too.
