I have a couple of nests in my house that I have accumulated over the years.  I find them very intriguing the way they are put together and, in fact, marvel how birds manage to even make them.  The nests hold their shape so well, while looking rather delicate, and provide a safe home for something as delicate as a bird's eggs.  This nest is full of promises.

2 Corinthians 1:20 (New American Standard Bible)

For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

Hi Karen,
It's a very lovely painting, I love all the little twigs (especially those with little leaves(?) on them). It's really lovely.
Best regards,
Carolina

*sigh*... you're one of the first people I started following just over a year ago. You continue to amaze, impress and have me in awe.

Great shadows on this, Karen - I love the colors and the eggs - very hard to paint!

Thank you Carolina. Those littel twigs with the leaves on them are some sort of weed - the leaves are kind of fuzzy IRL. It's fun to see how different birds "decorate" their nests.

Sheila - that is such a high compliment - thank you so much!

Hi Laura - thank you so much. You are right it would make a great Easter gift. Thanks for visiting.

Hi Sam - I always love seeing your "nose" here ;-) Thank you.

Hi Regina - thank you. There weren't many shadows in this one but I think what little bit there is really enhanced the painting. I need to do more eggs ;-)

Is it time for those little nest residents yet? Geesh - wish the snow would go away. This one is so soft and inviting! I can't wait for spring!

Hey Pattie - it won't be long around here for those little nesters. Thank you!

Marian - thanks!
