WOW - weekends are for Treasuries at ETSY I think!  I have another original pastel,  Lion of Judah, being featured. Please check out Sande Elkins' treasury and see what she has come up with for her Animal Kingdom Treasury.

I just looked back in my blog and I can't believe how time is flying by!  I posted this painting originally in June of 2010.  You might want to check it out if you haven't see that post because there are a few photos of the painting in progress.  I will have to do a WIP (work in progress) again one of these days.

Revelation 5:5 King James Version
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Hi Carol. Thank you - this is one of my favorites. I'm always flattered when chosen for an ETSY treasury and when other artists compliment me - thanks!

Thanks Sam! I'm glad you remembered it. When I saw the photo I knew I wanted to paint it. I'm glad it turned out the way it did.
