It's true!
A child was born & Jesus is His Name!

I make my Christmas cards every year and this year was no different. I have always done a pastel of an animal of some kind for my cards and this year I chose to do a pastel of my little Cairn Terrier, Sassy.

Sassy died at home on Easter this year of congestive heart failure. She was with me for twelve wonderful years. She was absolutely one of a kind, very smart, and in a word "sassy" hence her name. I loved her more than words can say and will miss her always.  She was my heart dog and her paw prints will be on my heart forever!

Doing a pastel of her and putting her on my Christmas card seemed very appropriate this year in helping me wish everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and to remember Jesus is the reason for the Season!

Luke 1:31-33
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Luke 2:11-14
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
