The Blue Door - New, Different Improved???
After some critiques on the Blue Door in another forum I took the piece I had done and redid it somewhat. The Blue Door showing here no longer exists. I took out the fountain, the bird, the rock border, the grassy area and added some shadows and lights. I hope it works because I'm done!

I like the changes Karen. I don't know much about pastels, you can remove things from you painting?
Hey Bev - I'm glad you liked it but hope you like the new version better - I changed it yet again.
Yes you can remove or cover up pastels. It isn't quite as easy as with oils but it can be done up to a point.
