We are so fortunate to live in a country such as ours even though I fear it is changing for the worse it still is a great country. I thank God that we are still free and for our troops who fight to keep us free. I hope you will take a moment on this special day for our nation and count your blessings and then give thanks to God - our founding fathers did.

I hope you had a lovely 4th of July. It rained here all day, forcing most of local firework displays to cancel until tomorrow.

This is a great little painting and the perfect tribute to our troupes and our nation.
Hi Marsha - I did enjoy the 4th although it was extremely HOT. Send some of that rain this way - we are in extreme drought here. I thought the same thing about being grateful I wasn't showing this weekend. I'm glad you like the painting of our flag. Good to see you up and about.
