I couldn't help myself - I had to do something about the sky and mountain in the background. Then of course one thing prompted another thing - I worked on the water. I think I like it - how about you?

hi Karen, love this place! You have made me feel I want to go see for myself! Just one litle niggle, I hope you don't mind a well intentioned critique, but I thought it was a path, not water, and I think it's because the water isn't level and the red trees are not reflected. It is now a beautiful mountain, though, you can smell the clean pure air.
Thank you for your comments, I love to get feedback, it keeps me going!
Sharon thanks for the great observations - I can see what you mean about the water level. I think that was bugging me without realizing exactly what it was. I'll try to work on the reflections too. Thanks again - I do appreciate it!
Oh good, I am so relieved you weren't offended! Happy painting, Karen.
Oh no Sharon - not offended at all. I need good critiques and am open to it. I've been working a bit on it this morning trying to get the water straight LOL and submerging some rocks and putting the reflections back in - that I'm having a hard time getting it like I imagine it should be. I'll post later this afternoon. Thanks again.
