I can't believe how long it has been since I've posted or actually done any painting.  I've been thinking about it but just haven't - for whatever reason.  So . . . last night after looking at several photos I decided to try to get back in the swing of things with this close-up of a horse.  I really hope it shows up on your computer screen well because the eye really looks good in real life.   My computer screen at home doesn't look as good as my computer screen at work so I always wonder how it looks to you.

Psalm 51:12 (New International Version)
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Karen, I have never painted a horse but this makes me want to give it a try. I love it, especially the twinkle that makes it so special.

The horse is such a beautiful animal. This painting is perfectly painted and I can see it clearly. I call them the gentle giant....
