His & Hers - An Original Graphite

His & Hers
10" x 8"
Original Graphite
$100

I like this graphite that I did serveral years ago because it seems to tell a timeless story to me.  Here is another timeless story:

My parents were married on June 6, 1942. On Monday, June 6, 2011 they are celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary!  You don't hear of many people these days that stay married even half that long. That is not to say that they haven't been through their share trials, tribulations and heartaches but God has blessed them mightily too in many ways over the years.

In their mid to late 80s they are healthier than most 10 to 15 years younger than they are. They have four children, one of whom was killed at the age of 16.  They have three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides the United States and in particular Texas, where they both were born, they have lived in Puerto Rico, Scotland, the Philippines, and Hawaii. Today they live in Central Texas with most of us kids nearby.

So. . . Momma and Daddy I just want to wish you a very Happy Anniversary and pray that God continues to bless you both richly.  I pray for your health and happiness and I just want to say I am so thankful to have parents like you.  I love you both so much! God Bless!

Matthew 19:4-6 King James Version (KJV)
4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
